We all know a straight up firecracker. She’s the life of the party. She takes no prisoners. She works hard and plays harder. Well, we know a few, and we channeled their spirits into one of the most popular boards in the Women’s lineup: the Talent Scout.
Ridden by Anna Gasser, Chloe Kim, and the majority of our female employees, the Talent Scout it all about having a grand ol’ time in the park. It’s one of the few straight-up camber park boards for women, which means it packs some serious pop and really grips on-edge. Off-Axis construction makes for
a snappy core profile that’s great for presses, and actually mirrors the park rider’s stance for a natural flex on all types of features.
Anna Gasser is the perfect poster child for all that the Talent Scout can do. She caught everyone’s attention by landing a cab double cork, and then bringing it to the contest circuit. Her list of podiums includes the Burton US Open, the FIS Snowboard World Cup, a whole bunch of world-class slopestyle and big air events, and she even won an ESPY for best female action sports athlete in 2017. She’s doing exactly what the Talent Scout was built for: progressing park riding, and having a good time in the process.
Anna says she digs this year’s graphic, which comes inspired directly by grandma’s couch. It takes patterns and textures you might find in any moth-ball scented living room and applies a more youthful aesthetic. The topsheet features our new favorite grandma, flipping the bird and reminding you to, “Go fun yourself.”
