Master These Three Steps for a Successful Camping Mission
Wherever you are, getting out there is only a few steps beyond simply walking out your door. The logistics fall right into place when you follow this easy three-step formula. There’s three S’s in “success,” right? Remember this, and there’s nothing between you and the camping experience of your dreams.
1: Squad Up – Gathering a solid crew for a camping trip is a necessity. The best companion is one who embraces the #NoBadTrips mentality. Whatever the weather, and wherever the map takes you, there’s no barrier between your crew and a good time.
2: Survey the Scene – Not only does this mean picking your destination (or at least a direction to wander in), but it means being prepared for what you might find once you’re out there. For example, will you want to pitch a tent with a rain fly, or can you post up in hammocks for the night? Is there space for a camp table and a few chairs? Can you build a fire? Is there a better spot, maybe one with a view, just over the next hill? All good things to consider.
3: Set Out – This is the good part. You’re all together, packed, and ready. Nothing left to do but hit the road and see what happens. Once you’re out the door, it’s all about the journey. The destination is secondary, heck, it might even change along the way. Make every part of the trip an adventure, even setting up your tent, and you’re sure to have a trip worth remembering.
